Just a few minutes left in the third. 8-6 Minnesota leading Vancouver.

Defense optional, apparently.

Fun piece here. Anybody have any unique, personal house rules with their respective leagues? Like @jaster - No teammate is allowed to wear a Madison Bowey jersey?

Konecny: How dare you play like a 3rd pairing d!
Smith: But I'm a third pairing D...

This reminds me of when I was big into MOBAs on PC. People would get so salty playing ranked games and start throwing around all these insults.

And it's like, "Brother, we're all the same rank. We're all trash."

Maybe I’m missing something with this particular story, but while addiction is serious and should be treated with compassion, there are still adjacent behaviors that are fair game for criticism.

Like, if you’re a pro athlete, on a pro contract that stipulates you not use drugs, and you proceed to not only use drugs but also go and post a video on social media bragging about all the coke you’re doing, you’re more than just a possible addict, you’re also an idiot who is well within the scope of being called an idiot. You are basically failing everyone who puts in time to support you and then thumbing your nose at that reality. You’re an ass and people should call you an ass.

Plenty of addicts need help and deserve help, while also being total POSs, irrespective of their addiction.

Criticism is one thing, stat clowns saying they should be punished is another thing. Stay in your lane and post your dumb player cards. instead of chasing for clout.

They then try to tag insiders, it's gross.

I see, this story is more about these two clowns than about the player. Every time I see these two names surface it seems to be because they are doing something dumb.

he was just waived not even a month prior by his previous team too

you'd think that would make someone keep their head down a bit instead of....whatever this is

I hope the young man gets the help he needs. With that said this isn't like it is an unknown thing, it feels fair to question his judgement and infer he will pay a pretty stiff penalty for this. He put it out there for the world to see, this isn't exactly libel...
