Gagner's a niche player. Columbus used him well, basically 4th liner PP specialist. Problem is that Gagner wouldn't crack Edmonton or Tampa's PP1. Gagner's skill set would have some redundancy to Yamamoto/Puljujarvi. Most teams are going to want their bottom six guys to kill penalties. They're probably keeping a spot warm for Dylan Holloway to potentially claim.
