PersonallY I liked Draisaitl's fake trip to the room then jumping back on the ice for the next shift when there was no call.
No benefit of the doubt from me at this point.
Did he have surgery? I just know he had another bunch of seasons w Chicago. Phx knew that was probably their only chance ever to win a cup and they lost their shit.. they were down 3-1 in the series so its not like even if they won that game they would advance. The Kings were not going to be defeated that year. That's right out there with Dustin Brown ending Rozsival's career in OT. Rozsival subsequently using his supposed injured left leg to step up off the ice. News flash, if you actually have a hurt leg you don't use it as your plant leg when going up a step.
Rozsival? His leg was amputated, and replaced with a bionic leg by Dr. Shane Doan immediately after Game 5 in 2012.Did he have surgery? I just know he had another bunch of seasons w Chicago. Doan had a great career - too bad he tarnished it a bit with the Moan re 2012. Same w Tippett - lost a lot of respect for him after that.Rosizal? His leg was amputated, and replaced with a bionic leg by Dr. Shane Doan immediately after Game 5 in 2012.
He had a bruised thigh I think the official injury report was. So yeah a charlie horse hurts like hell but he was obviously trying to sell that.Did he have surgery? I've read they're going to be in cap trouble soon. Most likely losing Kadri and then MacKinnon needs a new contract after next season. Plus Makar is going to get a huge deal whenever he's eligible. Their core is extremely strong but they'll be losing a lot of depth soon.it kinda feels like the Avs might finally be over their playoff failures and are ready to win. Similar to TB a while back. Best regular reason team (or near) and always losing in playoffs -- until they didn't. Then they go onto 2 SC wins and with a shot at a 3rd straight. Avs now, if they win this year, could also be looking at multiple SC wins.
I can't believe i'm going to say this, but I might actually find myself rooting for the Rangers in the SC finals if they get past TB.

Also, Kopitar getting 3 first place Selke votes and finishing top 6 is pretty funny.
Colorado got Makar on a six year deal with an AAV of $9M, at 23 years of age. Nice deal for them.![]()

Looks like it.Was 9 days off the kiss of death for Tampa?

Thanks for the breakdown. Not too bad for them but if they lose Kadri that's a huge hit to their 2C.Colorado is in OK shape, they'll have to be smart but aren't in deep crap or anything. Makar is already on his $9M, Girard and Towes are locked up for a bit. They'll need to re-sign Manson and Murray, if they want. EJ has only a single season left at $6M. They'll need to grab a goalie if they don't retain Kuemper.
MacKinnon is up after next season, the biggest task this year is Kadri, Nichuskin, and Burakovsky. They could conceivably fit all those guys if they can bring in some journeymen, but they are at the mercy of the market. The year after EJ is gone and they have to deal with MacKinnon and Newhook/Byram who are RFA.
They'll have to make some moves here and there but the core should stay intact. I do think this year is their best shot, though. They will definitely not be as deep in the next couple of years.
Man, that was a gutty come from behind win by the Lightning. They are not going to go down easily. TB has to stay out of the box, because they are-winning the battle 5-on-5.Tough reward for sweeping the presidents.
pp goal Tampa as I type see if they can turn it around.
This type of clown shit needs to end.
They don't even fine the majority of dives as they should. I'd love for more severe penalties, but they can't even do it with the easy stuff.Pretty easy fix, all dives are reviewed by Toronto and each judged as a penalty becomes a 5 minute major.
Force the players to decide risking 5 to try and fool for 2.
