I feel that was the Oilers best game of the series, and they were still thoroughly outplayedyes that was..and inversely bad plays by Ted Nugent Hopkins preceding that.. bottom line is the Avs still won after Oilers played one of their better games.
Honestly, good for them. Must have bothered Jack a little to be traded away right as the Kings go on to win a cup and he's had a rough career. Kudos to Kurtis for bouncing from Seattle to Colorado, making it work, and fighting through it. Both definitely deserve their shot at Stanely Cup glory.Jack Johnson and Kurtis MacDermid are five wins away from getting their names etched on the Stanley Cup.

Well, that and the whole Dad & Mum steal all of your $ and put you into a bankruptcy hole the rest of your life fiasco.
Didn't say good depth. They have just enough players to push guys down & form a decent 3rd line. Hopefully a Kane suspension will help with that depth issue in the next few games.I keep hearing about the Oilers depth, yet all I see is one guy doing everything. He’s the only reason they got out of the first round.
Between Kane, Nurse and Smith you are guaranteed at least one major momentum killing event per gameKane pretty much ruined the Oilers momentum in the early going of game three with that stupid penalty. Everyone was saying in pregame that Edmonton must be composed etc

The funny thing is this is Kane "behaving" while he's on a good team.Between Kane, Nurse and Smith you are guaranteed at least one major momentum killing event per game
No, it wasn't. MacKinnon's skate never touches Draisaitl's skate. Hip on hip action, yes – I call that getting outworked.
But alas, that destroys the narrative here.
After all the shit his parents did to him and being traded way from a team that in the same season won the Cup, I'm really rooting hard for him.
Plus, this very well could be Johnson's last season in the NHL, I want to see him go out on top.
I’ve said it before but they are the least deep team I can remember seeing this deep in the playoffs. At least, based on results. When McDavid doesn’t score points, the Oilers get shutout. Game 4 against the Kings and Game 2 against the Avs.Didn't say good depth. They have just enough players to push guys down & form a decent 3rd line. Hopefully a Kane suspension will help with that depth issue in the next few games.

Yeah, that wasn't an accident. That's 100% a slewfoot. Skates have nothing to do with it. Look at the left leg and the swing. Dangerous as hell.

Damn, that's cold!Hopefully the debt collectors let him keep the ring......
Agreed. Nate’s leg doesn’t even go forward. Just another dive by Divesaitl.
