Is there some edict in Western Canada that their broadcasters have to be enormous homers? Listening to the Oilers games against the Wild and Bruins and they complain about every damn call. Every call is a travesty. And the screaming, guys I’m trying to relax here, don’t yell at me. Screaming is only acceptable in hard rock music and in the bedroom. Chill out!

Don't forget on his major on Kempe they justified it by saying well if he wouldn't have interfered in the neutral zone Connor wouldn't have had to murk him
Oilers TV guys and Flames Radio guys are brutal for this.
Gene Principe annoys the hell out of me. Went to a Kings Oilers game there the year the new rink opened and turns out he annoys me even more in person.
As far as non-homer broadcasts it is tough to beat the Wild and Blues IMO

Edwards is by far the worst. Bruins are never at fault and have never lost a fight ever in history. Lol. He's brutal.

Jack Edwards has a persona on TV, it's strange. I've heard him on XM many times (mainly The Point) and he's totally different. Not loud, not obnoxious, not a homer, and most of the times criticized the Bruins performance. He was actually very entertaining to listen to when he's talking normal and very smart. On TV he doesn't really bother me because it's obvious he doesn't take himself serious, it's more of a production than anything, it's not totally serious. Unlike the Canucks who are total pearl clutchers and whiners about everything and are very serious.
Also, Bruins radio crew is EXCELLENT, same with the Flyers.

One thing that also really annoys me, and the Oilers radio crew are totally guilty of this, is when the opposing team scores and they barely say anything. They'll be like -
Kings goal - "Kopitar cuts to the net, rebound by Smith, Kempe back to Doughty, Doughty shoots. And it goes in."
Oilers goal - "McDavid to Nurse, nurse back to McDavid, McDavid over to Draisaitl, Draisaitl SCAAAAAAOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAOOOOOORSSSS! LEON DRAISAITLOLOLOLOLLLLLLLLLL!!! OILOLOLOLOLERS HAVE CUT THE DEFICIT TO 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I like Jack Edwards, he's an unapologetic homer but he does it with a whole lot of flair and personality. That goes a long way, in my opinion. I take that over the boring ones that offer little to nothing of substance and still whine about every call against their team.
