feel bad for khaira, he's had a number of concussions in the calendar year. brett ritchie gave him the glass jaw i think, then that romanov hit

hope he's alright but that's a dead clean hit

God forbid one of our guys get smoked like Khaira. We know no ones gonna do S**t about it.

i'm not gonna claim to know the rule exactly but that looks a lot like leaving the bench to instigate a fight no?

guess maybe that last player dipping off into the bench makes it legal "enough"

Yeah it could have been. Looked like a normal line change both players jumped on the ice at the same time, then Stillman sees that Trouba was on the ice turned around and then both players went at it. Trouba's a pretty tough dude he knew something was going to happen I'm sure.

The year is 2095, the NHL has expanded to 50 teams and the Kings rank #48 in goals scored. Teams #49 and #50 didn't play the season after being cancelled for thoughts made in 2035. AbsentMojo seen below waiting for entertainment...

My sides are in orbit.

I just can’t believe those Ducks are just out there having fun and being creative. That franchise has no control over their players. Didn’t they get the memo?

zegras and Milano just throwing pucks over the net and smiling…haven’t they seen how effectively Kaliyev can check now? THAT is where the real fun is

to be fair, if you're gonna pull that kind of shit in a game, you do it against Buffalo. I get the feeling they've done that before. It was a pretty slick move.

Maybe if Arty party could skate like Zegras. Kings blew it there. Pretty obvious even if Turcotte ends up a solid piece.

I figured, like many, that Chicago was going to choose Turcotte and we were going to get Dach. But Chicago didn't follow the script.

Hey look another 2019 draft pick playing well on the big club. Newhook looks so much like a younger Sakic. But hey we've got Lizotte, Tynan, Moore previously Wagner, Luff etc. etc. But seriously though this organization needs a young stud so bad. Seeing Zegras do stupid sick sh*t every night on the Ducks makes me ill.

The two Tynan callups - particularly after watching him play two games for the Kings - is a real headscratcher…all things considered. What is this team even doing.

I was hopeful for Dach or Zegras that draft. Turcotte was sold to me and I was hopeful. Still lots of time for Turcotte, but sure is tough seeing Zegras and Dach playing so well.

I haven't given up on Turcotte and don't expect him to make an actual difference on an NHL roster for at least 3 more years, but he currently has 3 goals in 16 game this season. I'm slowly getting worried. At least Vilardi is over a PPG so far. I don't even know what to think of Byfield. I think he's a stud and he's only 19, but where does he go? At this point I don't see any reason why he should be on the Kings if he's going to play with a couple fourth liners for 8 minutes a night, but I also don't see him playing a full season in the AHL after being called up last year. If they're going to play him on the Kings they need to have him play with talent and toughness, something like Lemieux-Byfield-Kaliyev or even Ardvisson-Byfield-Kaliyev.

If the Reign locker room is more positive than the Kings leave Byfield in the AHL this year. Let him recover, gain confidence in a lower pressured environment. LA is not winning shit anyway.

Vilardi should be back up IMO, same with Frk.

I am worrying about Turcotte but not giving up either.

Playing for the Kings doesn't seem to be much of a high pressure environment either.

Make a Wish foundation type of move for a career AHL'er playing well.

Maybe if someone on this board runs me over with their car Blake and Luc will let me play in goal for a game or two. :naughty:

I'm still not worried about Turcotte. I guarantee you watch a few games of his and you won't be worried, either.

He's not going to be a prolific goal scorer though. But he's the best playmaker at F we have in the org, yes even more so than Byfield.

I know this sounds like me being stubborn but I'm bullish about his abilities translating better to the NHL.

TSN's top 10 trade board

I wonder with Jeff Gordon in Montreal, if that ,moves Kravstov north.

Bruins are getting calls on DeBrusk, but I don't think they'll move him before the deadline. I think they are hoping some contender with injuried forward(s) might up the ante.
