That seems plausible to me although I'd be curious if Boston is looking for an NHL body right away. Namely a 3C since it seems like Erik Haula hasn't been able to repeat that first year Vegas production. But perhaps they'd be fine with moving DeBrusk's cap hit and finding a 3C in a separate deal.
Will be interesting to see what DeBrusk ends up going for, his qualifying offer would scare me off if I didn't have a ton of cap space.

I realize they're paying for potential, but that's a ton of money for someone who has yet to cement himself and his career best season is 11 goals and 31 points.

Ducks 7th on offense, dead last the previous season. Kings have improved too, up one spot from 27 to 26th.
