With how starved the Leafs are for scoring depth, I wouldn't be shocked if Amadio stuck and lucked his way into a bunch of secondary assists. They currently have David Kampf, Pierre Engvall, and Michael Bunting in roster spots on the 3rd and 4th lines. You never know.

Using a fake vaccination card is illegal in the U.S., and NHL rules state that teams and players who fail to comply with COVID-19 protocols will face significant club and individual sanctions, including forfeiture of games, fines and reimbursements of expenses, as well as loss of draft choices.

In the same announcement, the NHL said it was investigating separate and unrelated allegations that involve "potential wrongdoing" by Kane.

Terminating a contract requires a material breach of his contract. That requires clear proof. Even then the NHLPA would fight it. Cap hit would follow any settlement dollars.

A fake vaccine card needs to be proven. If proven, it's a potential 5 year sentence and certain deportation even if he serves no time.

His first year he was skating hard and looked fast in comparison to a slower kings team. That's all. The team then got faster and he looked worse. I think Lizotte is similar but with added work ethic.

Kane was going to run into criminal trouble sooner than people think even if not caught by the NHL.

This is about to become law. It's a felony in New York to falsify vaccination records. Passed the senate and the remaining steps before becoming enforceable are formalities.

That looked bad for sure, but I recall Eric Lindros making Scott Neidermayer look like a pylon in his first NHL season and I think he did alright. Seider will be a good one I think.

Sure. No problem with thinking Seider will be a good one. Some Wings fans acted in the Calder thread that Seider winning it was a given, though.

LOL I was thinking the same thing. Saw this live and was like who the hell just got worked and sure enough it was the HOFer Seider. For the record I think he'll be good. But great welcome to the NHL moment.

I love Seider and agree he's probably the best D prospect in the league. Which is awesome because in a lot of ways he's a throwback dman.

I also enjoy that more than a few people are going to have to eat humble pie on it for a little bit.

Doesn't help they lost Vrana for a of the season. Played really well when he got to the Motor City last season and I think he can flourish there.

Seider will be solid for them in the coming years.
