You forgot shark piss injections up the nose... ;)

Yeah it'll be interesting to see how long Carter is 1C there with Crosby and Malkin out. Can't imagine that's gonna go too well.

Carter's a smart player, good 2 way player and still has a good shot. He should do fine until Crosby returns. Hextall's latest update was that he was on schedule, so that should be somewhere Oct 15th to 20th. A handful of games.

That's not their problem, even Crosby and Malkin won't save them from their goaltending.

Handful of games can be the difference, you never know.

Amadio always tried stuff that was just above his actual skill level. Occasionally he would make a really nice play, but other times he overestimated what he was capable of executing and it turned into an odd man rush the other way. Lemme try this Gretzky drop-pass right here. Or stick handle at the blue line with no defensemen backing him up.

Amadio brought some speed to LAs lineup that we had not seen for a couple of years.
Thats why some liked him. Once speed around him caught up he got lost.

What planet are you on? MA was soft and slow as F***. He actually had decent hockey sense and playmaking skills -- just not the physical tools to match.

With how starved the Leafs are for scoring depth, I wouldn't be shocked if Amadio stuck and lucked his way into a bunch of secondary assists. They currently have David Kampf, Pierre Engvall, and Michael Bunting in roster spots on the 3rd and 4th lines. You never know.
