I think this is all a negotiating tactic by the city of glendale to get more money before the new rink is built.
maybe realized his options are to play in Buffalo, Calgary or Anaheim

Except that they can't collect the money already owed, which has been extended and extended...
Yet the Coyotes organization insists they will find a new home in AZ.
I can't see that. Why the NHL is so insistant on keeping a team there is ridiculous.
As they are in the central, Kansas City, Houston, Milwaukee, Quebec perhaps viable
KC was agood hockey market and I think would be a good choice.

The upper is so steep the original design was prohibited, they had to add guard railings at the front of every row!

It's been a few years, but hasn't the story been that KC doesn't want a team in the arena they have there?
Anyway, if there was an easy place to put the Coyotes, I'm sure TPTB would've seen to it by now. Unlike the Thrashers, the Coyotes have found a home in Ari every year. That's why one team got moved at the drop of a hat, and the other doesn't.

Going east isn't really an option unless one of the Eastern teams come west. They're not going to have lopsided conferences again. That was the whole point of adding two teams to the West.

The Sharks already exist. Seals, Barons, merge with the North Stars, almost relocate to SJ, expansion team and dispersal draft with the North Stars instead, back in the bay area.

he was one of few rangers I felt bad for that series.
Even without a cup his a first ballot HOF for me. What he has done for some poor ranger teams, and for some good swedish teams is soo good.
