Brett Hull had a “Brett Hull is a cheat” shirt on many years later. Honesty, this is good for the NHL. Everyone wants a villain and Tampa just might be taking that mantle here.

That TV interview was a breath of fresh air after the Stanley cup win. Hockey interviews are terribly boring: “oh we just got pucks in deep you know and we worked hard…”. Hear this every game. A player not caring and saying his thoughts? Give me more of that!

juvenile? Yup. Childish? Absolutely. But Lightening players got to hear how the team was over the cap as an excuse all playoffs. Now their throwing it back with interest.

Some of the posters whining about Kucherov remind me of those thin skinned fans out there who constantly cried about Drew Doughty any time he made some outspoken comment.

Love that Kucherov is having fun with this. Other teams have taken advantage of this cap loophole in the playoffs as well, this isn't the first time it's happened.

Very interesting stat/trend - every team that has won a Stanley Cup since 2009 has had 2 top 5 picks (Doughty and Schenn). Every team that has won multiple times has had at least 2 top 3 picks EXCEPT the Kings (only Doughty).

Hopefully Byfield and Turcotte are harbingers of more rings!

In all fairness, Kopitar probably should have been the #2 pick in his draft. We got lucky there.
