Looks like Landy had a setback in his recovery.

Sad, that it does seem like fans are more concerned about his cap charge to the Avs than his health/recovery. But, that is the downside of a hard cap system. As even if he returned, unlikely he would provide value at his cap charge.

Did anyone else spend any time post game fantasizing about Brandt Clarke getting caught in the trolly tracks next time we play them and engine #81 is back on the ice?

Ok so 3 games for that jackass Jeannot? That's actually better result than I thought.

If only the players safety department can keep things consistent...

Lankinen is only 1 year older than Demko

There’s a chance that Demko might just be injury prone forever

Yeah, at this point he's a huge bag of who knows what. Even if he can play games we won't know the level or weather he can return to form. I'd be pretty keenly looking at signing Lank if he keeps playing like this for the next little while.

Someone told me this I thought they were joking. That is at least 5 games if not closer to the 10. What a joke.

That was just about the worst kind of late blindside hit you could throw, it was a plug injuring an all-star, and it was judged to be marginally worse than Connor McBaby falling into a stick (uninjured) after he was trying to slash guys at the end of a game.

There's no grey area on this one at all. Literally a textbook example of what they're supposedly trying to eliminate with the rule about checks targeting the head.

If you want to actually get rid of hits like this it needs to be a 20-game suspension. 20 games for a first offense, 40 games for a 2nd offense, etc.

3 games for a hit like this is how you get players to say f*** it and take matters into their own hands.
