Doesn't sound like that based on this article, which raises a lot of interesting points.

I stand corrected on the BCHL. As it has been, those who don't go to the CHL will be same old same old.

From my understanding, in the discussions on the business forum was that CHL kids had to honor their agreements, thus they either finished their CHL eligibility or went to the NHL. If that does change that becomes a different matter.

According to #SJSharks, there are 2 separate things going on with Jake Walman.

He did not play on 11/5 for non-hockey reasons.

Warsofsky didn't want to divulge details, but said about the scratch: "No one is bigger than the team. We're about the team, and getting better as an organization, our culture, our standards, is really all I can say to that."

Walman will not play tonight because of an upper-body injury that he suffered 11/2 when Brock Boeser caught him with an awkward hit.

He has practiced, but he came in today and it's worsened. Warsofsky said he would've been a game-time decision on 11/5 anyway.

Walman is day-to-day with an upper-body injury

no one hates yzerman, he's just mid.
Seems like he wanted the guy out that badly. But Det is like $3.4 mill under the cap ceiling. And Wlaman’s buyout would have been around $1.1 mill. See if they do end up using that cap space or not.

But still $4.4 mill in real money for the buyout.
