Just wow! Surfing some of those NHL highlights on Sportsnet, Friday might have featured some of the ugliest goaltending performances I've ever seen.

Canuck are just so fortunate to have Lankinen......not sure where they'd be without him.

I think we would be like bottom 10 right now if we ran with Silovs and didn’t sign Lankinen

Former Canuck Spencer Martin with a sieve-like performance in Carolina's 6-3 loss to Florida.

Makes you wonder how long it'll be before the 'Canes are forced to do something to deal with their goaltending woes.

It's just crazy to me that a smart organization would dress this player. He's had a couple multi-game stretches where he's look decent, and cashed in with NHL contracts each time.

Other than that he's been far below a replacement level goalie. Dressing him for a game is like playing a guy who can barely crack an AHL lineup as your first line center.

They've got Dustin Tokarski on an AHL contract for their minor league affiliate. This isn't rocket science.

SJ has to turn over that D core. Dumped Benning for Lij. But like 4 others are up by 2026. So, figuring that out will be a challenge to support the kids coming up on D.

Not a hard thing to convince UFAs to move to San Jose if you have a good, young, forward group.

Just looking up a couple of guys that really disappointed in last years playoffs to see how they are doing:

Sam Lafferty has 1 point in 22 games this season.

Ilya Mikheyev has 4 points in 21 games this season.

If you go back on the last 10 games of last season, all of the playoffs and the first 21 games of this season, those two guys have a combined 7 points over their last 80 NHL games.
