Cock of the Walk
Assuming Nichushkin had substance abuse issues - that is really fast to "complete" a program...
Cloutier was fine until that Red Wings goal.I'd argue that most of the Oilers problems would be manageable if they were getting consistent, respectable goaltending.
It was the same shit when the Canucks had Cloutier and the WCE. A talented group of offense, with some players who would zonk out (eg, Bertuzzi, Jovo, Cloutier himself) when shit got heavy.
There was always that anxiety watching those games, and I can't help but think it was felt by the players, too, and it got infectious.
They'd still have to deal with McDavid being a sullen baby (kind of like how we're dealing with the mercurial EP) and his sulks, but having a goalie who can hold the fort and let the team get themselves back together is immensely valuable.
Maybe Skinner is that guy, but I'm skeptical.
Flyers fan here. The Canucks look really good. Are there any deadline deals with Philly that might help put your team over the top? What do you believe you need to add?
Someone who managed to exit the place on his own terms. A real gem.He was the only celebrity death that really affected me. RIP.
The moth joke.
Or the professor of logic joke.
Big night in Edmonton...Kings can overtake the Oilers with a win. Closed down the 6 point gap in the last 10 games.
Cloutier was fine until that Red Wings goal.
For what it's worth LA has a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way... Chicago 3x, Anaheim 2x, Calgary 3x
Dallas deserves him if they are currently playing Derrick Pouliot on the 2nd pairing.Chris Tanev of the Calgary Flames was mentioned in LeBrun's article.
" Tanev is a righty and a pending unrestricted free agent. The thought is the Flames are waiting for a team to offer them a first-round pick for Tanev. Dallas has all its first-round picks in the upcoming drafts."
They also are acquiring players to fit Tocchets system. Blueger, Suter, Mikheyev, Joshua, Lindholm, Di Giuseppe, Lafferty, Aman, etc.It occurred to me that great teams / franchises / organizations don't really play to win. Rather they play their systems and winning is due to this. Whether they're up or down in games, there's a very consistent approach, knowing that if they stick with the plan they'll come out on top. There's no panic, and the elation only happens after the games are over.
The systems are based on player styles and ability. The Canucks have played like this at times this season. No panic, no worry, just resolve.
He wasn't really around THAT long before that goal.I don't want to revisit 20 year old arguments so all I'll say is that I disagree.
If you're a good person it's every monthWhat month is the Good Deeds cup?
Their D is pretty horrendous other than Ekholm.Kings up 1- 0 early. Oilers with a fine lower Beer league defense down low. 3 or 4 guys Watching the puck carrier and/or puck not taking a single King in front.
your anxiety plus @Vector 's addiction to chaos will bring nothing but excitementthe pettersson anxiety is basically causing me to declare trade protected first and sign tanev to an extension immediately.
this is based on nothing but pure anxiety.
He's turning into an exceptional player. He's really learning how to effectively use his stick without the puckByfield’s a menace. This guys everyone so far this period. Assist and breaking up plays
