It's also been reported that on their flight to Russia, the accused rapists reclined their seats all the way back
Ya that's the same. Whatever. I'll let it go. I know what my thoughts are on are doing business in a country doing what Putin is doing. So do MOST companies and workers. Being "blackballed" doesn't change that.

You're missing my point. Aside from the fact that they probably need this money to have any hope of staying out of jail, why would you dwell on the relatively trivial moral transgressions of someone credibly accused of rape?

Hronek doesn't belong on a worst contracts list.

It wasn't like his season was that massive of a leap in stats.

His last three seasons he had 26 in 56 games, 38 in 78, and 39 in 64. And most recently 48 in 81 games. Fairly consistent point per game, improving over the years with experience.

It's not like he broke out and had a 70-80 point season. He jumped 9 points. And that's with maybe being injured and going cold to finish the year. I'm not sure where this writer thinks he's going to revert to.

If you look at comparable players, points/ice time etc. He's right at par with them. Except most are older.

I used to enjoy something like this but it was called a Paralyzer and I wanna say it also had milk and cola. I was probably under 20 years old at the time.

I have a buddy named Emilio who used to just love them. He'd always be leaning on a wall at the bar or at a table and out of nowhere just look right at you and you drawl out Par-a-lyzer !!! in a real slow deliberate voice. You knew shi!t was about to get real at that point. :naughty:

And yeah, they do have milk and cola, you can substitute Tequila for the vodka though, but you have to add the milk last or it will curdle or something weird like that.

On that topic, I just a saw a clip of a drop shot that sounds kind of gross and maybe a little tasteless depending on your brand of humor.

A Christopher Reeve, you take a superman shot and drop it into a paralyzer and drink it all together.

Actually insane that Hronek ended up on that list. Hronek is playing this contract through all his prime age years, too. Signing 30 yr old dmen is always worse and I would say Tyler Myers is a worse contract just on the Canucks.

The Hockey Writers website is an interesting read, but it's hardly the gospel on hockey. I agree that putting Hronek on the list of the top-10 worst contracts in the NHL is a bit of a joke. Frankly, handing out a four year contract to a 34 year old Chris Tanev by the Leafs is a far worse deal.

And as I recall, this same website had Quinn Hughes badly trailing Roman Josi and Cale Makar in the battle for last season's Norris. Happily the voters didn't agree with them either.
