I’m so happy the habs are getting spanked. What are you all drinkin? It’s a celebration.
You do realized that our team is the worse chockers in nhl and that most of us would kill to get spanked in a Sc final.

Lets go back to our cave and pretend we are great because Montreal only won 13 games.

There's always a Leafs connection

there is always an every team connection.

mcd and Sergachev were both Montreal property.

point was picked right after sorokin.

Boston passed on barzal 3 times.

Every series has a trade or story.

Honestly Tampa has been putting in work the last couple of years keeping our embarrassing franchise from being even more humiliated. Taking out the Islanders in back to back years when that team had a very real chance of winning a Cup if they got through the Lightning and then beating Montreal to stop them from getting the Cup is huge. Doesn't make up for the Leafs continued failures but at least our worst enemies aren't winning it all either.

This off-season ironically isn’t long enough for my taste. I don’t want to see the stupid Leafs again so soon, September will be here in a blink.
Will the break seem longer if I told you the 2021-22 regular season opening night target date is not till October 12?

I want the Leafs to win a cup. I don't give a **** about a Finals appearance

At least Habs fans got to taste some success even if it wasn't the ultimate prize, but most importantly they had fun! When's the last time the Leafs did something on the ice that resulted in as many consecutive happy memories in a row?

That's normal though. I assume training camp will be September when we'll get pre-season interviews and hear all about which future Leafs loser we acquired will get us past the first round this time.

What...no sloppy Pizza?!!! :sarcasm::D

Man the habs have a lot of draft picks.

I wonder if they begin to look to use those picks to get win now players. They've drafted a lot from 2018 onwards.

They will have a big offseason. They can retool their roster and upgrade the deficient areas and become a top 3 team in the Atlantic if Bergervin is bold enough to do so

Meanwhile in the Leafs Land a guy called dubas is ruining everything!

This makes me sick the most. Montreal went all the way to the finals with a lot of support from young players, still have a very good prospect pool and have more picks this draft than a team normally does. Meanwhile Dubas pissed away all our draft picks for useless depth and got another first round exit out of it, when this team was just starting to restock the prospect cupboards. f***ing bullshit, this franchise is in such a horrible position right now.

It's not even just that the Habs can continue to stock up for the future, the trade currency they have with all of their picks and prospects make it extremely possible for them to make a non-crippling trade for an impact player to help them make the playoffs next year, and we all know what they're capable of when that time comes. If the Leafs trade any of our paltry amount of picks or prospects to try and address a need we're doing the exact same thing as what Leafs teams of the past did that has us where we are today.

It's incredible that people still defend this management group and continue to praise Dubas.

"We are right where we are supposed to be"

I hope he can pull a rabbit out of the hat, but I have no faith in this management team.
