the NHL regular season is a waste of time

Why even bother watching players with skill and talent when instead we have to watch this unwatchable montreal mediocrity?

The problem is the officiating changes in the playoffs. Penalties that are routinely called during the regular season that impede players are largely ignored in the post season. As a result, teams that excel during the regular season based on skill can't employ the same strategy with effectiveness in the playoffs.

They might as well bring in two line passes and remove the trapezoid from the goalies in the playoffs.

The skill comes out itself with an effective powerplay. Opponents aren't going to take as many liberties if they know a penalty means they will likely be put down a goal. This was working well for most of of the Canucks in 2011, until their PP dried up against Boston.

And Mac makes less.
so yeah. let's not compare the two at all.

in other news, Kadri's suspension is upheld.
good.

Even if Mac was making $11 million, that would be impressive...you'll take that kind of playoff production everyday.

There's no way Bettman would overturn Parros after supporting him from the backlash by the Rangers...and I think 8 games was fair punishment for Kadri...he's still such an idiot.

Man leafs got me being listening to depressing/emo hip hop music to pass the time.

I seriously can't wait for next year. Either leafs pull through and stop being losers or they prove once and for all they are unwinnable and we see major moves with Managment, coaching, scouting, all having firings and the core guys being sent away.

I won't pretend and say I'll stop being a fan if we lose in the 1st round again but if it does come to that, see this team be blown up will be very satisfying, definately more satisfying then any series we played in since we became good and probably a top 3 moment in my time as a fan.

Hopefully we are dealing with the 2020 Lightning instead of a standard leafs team next year
