I feel like there will be some overachievers that fall back to earth as well.

Are we going to see Weegar, Forsling, Verhaeghe, and Driedger (if he is back) repeat what they've done?
 
The fact that Scheifele will still have to sit the first game of the regular season, after that sweep, is hilarious to me.

What a great way to remind your team of the massive failure when they are trying to start fresh with a new season.

Lol we all knew this division was a joke. I thought leafs were pretty solid but i was wrong. Habs will get slapped next round but props to them for makin it this far

As Pierre McGuire said this morning, the Habs/Jets series looks pedestrian compared to the Avs/GK series. I do think the Habs have a chance to make it a series.

I'm not saying anything about an Isles win over Boston until they finish the Bruins off but quick question, do you still think Barzal is a soft perimeter player ? Three straight games with a goal vs the big bad Boston fricken Bruins.

I truly hope Colorado takes back this series lead tonight. They absolutely can get back to themselves and I damn well hope they do.

No, Boston is soft. Barzal disappeared against Tampa last year; Tampa manhandled both Boston and NYI. And I expect to see more of the same if NYI and Tampa advance.

What's more bothersome in game 6: Dermot with the pointless dipsy doo that lead to the goal against, or Matthews, just prior, shooting yet another puck wide in the slot that would have iced the series?

Colorado and Tampa champion the sort of thing Toronto wants to build so you want to see that succeed. But VGK are rock stars too. Sometimes it’s just refreshing to see great teams having fun and having no skin in the game.

So all it takes to take down our nemesis, the big bad Bruins is luck. Not work ethic, great PP, push back and solid goaltending. Where can we find some of this luck ??
