Have you ever had a good hot take?Without Carey Price, the Habs are Buffalo
I'm just hoping they're not the '86 Habs
What are you talking about? That's just not true. Roughly same number of over-30 players as Leafs. He basically has loaded up on old guys. Outside of 3 guys, the rest of his team is mainly in their 30s
I get that, but if I were the Habs I'd want to keep rolling. 7 straight wins? Fans in the stands? Underdog story? I'd want to play every night.
Not sure time to plan and think about what they've done so far is their ideal situation
that’s what you guys said since round 1 game #1
stop embarrassing yourselves
If we get a Habs/Isles SCF, hello dead puck era 2.0
Are you okay, Mess? Did you have a stroke while writing this post?Habs are the true Kings of the North in a 4 game sweep and sitting right where I Leafs would be losing only 2-3 on their way to making the final 4.
Jets are mediocre 5on5 team and that’s I wanted leafs to face them instead of habs in the first round.
I wonder what the oilers are thinking..getting swept by a team who then got dominated and swept in the second round.
I get your thought process, I just think they'd want to keep rolling. That's how you run out of gas the deeper you get into round 3 against an elite team. And no time to heal bumps and bruises
I would put the odds of Montreal winning 2 games against Vegas/Colorado at around 10%.
The hockey world is about to see just how pitiful the North Division truly is.
That’s how you finish teams off. Full credit to the habs. They’re playing good hockey. Toffoli was a good pick up and I think there defense has been excellent. Shutting opposing teams offence down...Unfortunately for them, I don’t think the next series will be as easy.
*Sighs.
I really miss Lou. I don't know about the rest of you.
Next series for them goes at least 6 IMO. They won't be an easy out.I would say they'll be lucky to win 1.
Assuming a normal schedule, gonna be Ottawa or the Habs in the October opener.I don’t want to see the Leafs play another Canadian team until November.
Meanwhile, somewhere in TorontoDid you know only the Stanley Cup champs TB with 35 games have played more playoff games the past 2 years than Lou Lam's NYIs with 33.
