#Flyers to place D Andrew MacDonald on waivers at noon → http://*******/1QQC22L

Thank God. Now if that Schenn brothers to Ottawa rumor over the weekend comes to fruition...a total trifecta

Looks like Tokarski (MON) on waivers today, too

Toakrski on waivers is surprising to me. He has done well when Price has gone down...in playoff games none the less.

Anyoen know if Silverberg got injured?

For as much as they like to tout the whole "this is OUR game" crap, there sure are a lot of Canadians that know **** all about the sport.

The excuse there is that person is a Flames fan. Their collective heads have become inflated in the last year.

and matt frattin!

Somebody will pick Mason Raymond, he'd be a good fit on the 3rd line for a team that needs supplemental scoring, like the PReds maybe. His numbers are usually decent

He contract is brutal. may scare off people, plus I think there are better players than him on the waiver wire

The already in that post was flat wrong...but Monahan's numbers his first two years are comparable to Kopitar's. Not sure if that is what the poster was getting at, but Monahan offensively is trending in the right way, also he is no slouch in his own end. So time will tell, but he could be a good comparable to Kopi.

I've always thought Monahan was a baby Kopitar. The suggestion that they're already on the same level, though, is just...yeah.

Corrado and Tukarski on waivers are two that interest me greatly.
I doubt either make it to LA but I would be a fan of picking both up and then waiving Schultz and Enroth.

lets grab Frattin again, maybe Columbus will take him back for a 2nd time in exchange for Saad. Well, and we'd probably have to toss a 3rd rounder in.

How would you guys compare Linden Vey (with his year of NHL experience) with Shore/Andrehoff/Weal who we now have filling the roll he might have if he was still here? Are we definitely better off with Shore/Andrehoff/Weal? I would think so but I remember how high Vancouver was on Vey initially and how sad some were at his departure.

Didn't see him play much, but if the trade forum is to be trusted (lol), they were REAL low on him.

I was high on Vey but he has dissapointed.

Hexy waived AndyMac... is that at 5M.

yup..per yr for 5 more...they get 950K in cap relief. AMac is a liability and he did it so he could keep both Scott Laughton and Brandon Manning on the club. I am huge fan of Laughton and he's a player you can't help but like, smart, works his backside off every shift, fearless, just a terrific player who I hope will give the 3rd line a boost .

Also Luongo challenged Jagr to grow his famous Mullet back and he bit, Jagr said he'll do it.

I will make it my mission this year, work 24h around the clock 2 get Jags to bring this puppy back! It's gonna happen

According to the article Slava and his agent trying to negotiate a contract. His rights belong to one KHL team but he's playing on another, also, if he signs a 3 yr deal, it's likely his paycheck could triple.
Another consideration is he wants his daughter in a school that teaches English, which are located in ST Petersburg, not Chelyabinsk.

Voynov’s KHL rights belong to Traktor Chelyabinsk, and the team, supported by the governor of the region, made a substantial offer to have him play for the team. However, Voynov decided to play for SKA St. Petersburg together with Ilya Kovalchuk, who showed support for Voynov in Russian media.

SKA is currently negotiating with Traktor to obtain Voynov’s KHL rights before negotiating with the player himself regarding details. SKA will also need to obtain Voynov’s international transfer card, which means the Los Angeles Kings will also need to agree to the terms of the contract. Voynov’s agent Alexander Tyzhnykh said the negotiations are continuing with the Kings, the NHL and the NHLPA.

One other note to keep an eye on is a Torres suspension decision this afternoon. Hearing was held today and could be a high number.

Should be in years not games...

Torres is a filthy dirty player and a total POS who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a rink. That guy has been given enough chances. It is time for the hapless crap filled collection of morons that run the NHL to actually do something right for a change.

Linden Vey on waivers, LOL. How many people on this board were pissed at Dean when he traded him. Lifetime AHL player.
