I get that and I don't like Edmonton but it's karma. I'm hoping they figure it out a bit. Just missing the playoffs.

Then again I could see leafs doing that too the way they're going lately.

I keep thinking they'll right the ship and there is lots of time but they need to go on a 3 or 4 game win streak here. D has been pretty bad.

Klingberg "injured" is fine. I see in the o zone he can do things but he's pretty bad so far in his own end. Multiple times he has miscues and can't make a solid first pass.

Sucks Lilly got hurt again on the cheap trip by Marchand. Lilly was just getting going.

Reaves was signed 1 to 2 years too long. I thought the 4th line was better last game but Holmberg or even mcmann etc could fill in easily and be more effective.

If he isn't going to hit and drop the gloves and intimidate when he's on the ice then I'm not sure why he is here. I expected more.

Reaves is in a tough spot though.

Now he and Treliving are responsible for that, but it isn't like you just send him out there to beat someone up. The Liljegren situation ... what did we want him to do there? Probably something but perhaps they were too focused on the game and not the season?

McDavid and Draisaitl will be able to pull the Oilers out of the dumpster to go on a little run at some point. Question is will they already be buried in the standings at that time. They are already behind the 8 ball and American thanksgiving is approaching.

If they can’t string a few wins together that’s going to be tough.

I'd still think they will somehow make the playoffs. Even if it's something like by a single point for the wild card slot they'll get in.

But still, pretty much an incredible disaster of a season for the team that a significant portion of the hockey media selected as cup favorites lol

Hopefully they manage to defy my modest expectations and still end up on the outside looking in come the postseason

If the Oilers grab a wild card spot, they don't have the horses to go deep. McDrai can only do so much.

They should honestly trade for Saros. 2 more years at 5m, currently being wasted away on a bad preds team.

Can send Vanecek the other way, only need to shave off another 600k to make him fit.

See where a 1st + Holtz gets the conversation going.

Looks like Gaudreau made a mistake choosing Columbus or maybe it's Columbus that messed up.
He doesn't look too enthusiastic.

Maybe it is a 5 minute blip?
