Giving Drai franchise D minutes?
Yes we can. Should Edmonton even have a franchise? Can't laugh at the Coilers right now given how bad the Leafs are.
Next level = ECHL?Campbell focused on finding 'next level' to game despite loss in Condors debut
Though he faced a tough loss in his Condors debut in the wake of a surprising demotion to the AHL, Jack Campbell has remained focused on finding the next level in his game, regardless where he is.www.sportsnet.ca
Get the Maple Leaf 97 jersey ready in the near future.I know it’s early but it’s looking ugly in Loiler land.
.643 for the duration to get 95 points which might get you in. That’s a 105 point pace.
.714 for 100 points which gets you in in the West.
And a round .750 (123 point pace) for 105 points which is home ice in the West.
At least the Leafs, who’ve been slow starters for like 5-6 years now, are an above 500 team despite zero depth scoring and beer-league goaltending.
I’ve said before that Drai is already asking buddies around the league about their cities but if they miss, and it’s because they’ve given him franchise D minutes for the last four years and he’s beat - and he somehow becomes the scapegoat and you know that’s what’ll happen, he’s gone too.
Next level = ECHL?
More accurately, had filled that role already, 2 and a half months before Perry decided to accept where his career was at.Almost had him in 2021 but went with simmonds instead
Can't laugh at the Coilers right now given how bad the Leafs are.
Yeah big swing and a miss there. One of many.Whenever I see Corey Perry play a part of me dies a bit
He is still a good player, great front of the net. Almost had him in 2021 but went with simmonds instead
I dunno man, looking at our playoff record it's hard for me to say that we're not fundamentally flawed as well. I also feel like we're on the verge of being irrelevant as early as next season. I can see us trading futures for rentals once again in a desparate attempt to win this season and considering our only valuable tradeable assets are Minten, Cowan and the one 1st rounder we have in the next 2 years (both 2nd rounders already traded), the cupboards will be bare as f*** once two of those three assets are gone which seems pretty likely. Then Nylander will probably leave - he's not dumb, he can see this team has no future and then we're left with M&M (assuming Marner stays) with not much at all in the way of a supporting cast, plus some other team will offer Willie top dollar so why would he stay? I doubt he loves being an afterthought behind M&M enough to take less money to stay here. I love Rielly but he won't be doing anything other than declining soon and after him, our D will be Liljegren and duct tape and the forwards will be M&M, Knies, a declining JT and duct tape. Woll is a big question mark but even if he turns into an all-star, this will still be a team where the question won't be can they win the cup, it'll be can they make the playoffs.Leafs are no where as bad. We dont' have a 5 million dollar goalie playing the minors
Our star players are producing. We do have 2 key injuries
We have a lot of faces that will take some time to gel.
Oilers on the other hand, just fundamentally flawed. Unless McDavid goes on a 200 point a season streak, which he can, they have nothing
OK, I guess there's my answer. By all means, hate away then. Cheers! The only joy I have ever experienced as a hockey fan is from hating on the Oilers.
I honestly don't give a flying F. Leafs fans should worry about their own team first. Well unless McJesus asks for a trade to come to Toronto.Yes we can. Should Edmonton even have a franchise?
TTOE was supposed to be the worst Canadian based team and they might be one of the best.
I don’t care about Edmonton either and wouldn’t know they really existed without this board. They’re Minnesota North, imo. You know there’s a team there but that’s the extent of it.I honestly don't give a flying F. Leafs fans should worry about their own team first. Well unless McJesus asks for a trade to come to Toronto.
Perhaps the saddest thing I've ever read here. The only joy I have ever experienced as a hockey fan is from hating on the Oilers.
WhoaPerhaps the saddest thing I've ever read here.
I still don’t get why people dislike Edmonton, they’ve been a disaster since Messier left. The only joy I have ever experienced as a hockey fan is from hating on the Oilers.
Ummm.... uhhh..... WHAT?

That's clickbait at its finest.
