As much as I love the Oilers losing, I do want to see McDavid still put up the points. Really want to see him break that Gretzky more assists than anyone else points, or at least get to 2000 career

What a disaster for the Oilers. No urgency in their game until they fell behind.

Toilet bowl lived up to the hype in the end lol

Can’t see it, but good luck to him. Be hard to keep it up through mid-30’s to get towards it.

What the hell did they care?

apparently nucks/oilers had some rivalry built up to start the season with a lot of things being said, some gooning and "interesting" games

Canuck fans hunting for some bad juju there

anyway folks. Grab some popcorn and enjoy the oilers post game thread. its glorious LMAO

GDT maybe, some days, some teams, but no desire to see the Oil pgt in the least lol. I may be reaching empathy here. Gretz was my childhood hero, Edm was my other team until HF ruined it.

110 points over 18 years (age 36) and he's building up a big buffer now for the drop off. Given how much of a fitness freak he is age 36 is conservative for retiring.

Sid still puts up well over 1ppg and he's 36 or 37 now

I know it’s early but it’s looking ugly in Loiler land.

.643 for the duration to get 95 points which might get you in. That’s a 105 point pace.

.714 for 100 points which gets you in in the West.

And a round .750 (123 point pace) for 105 points which is home ice in the West.

At least the Leafs, who’ve been slow starters for like 5-6 years now, are an above 500 team despite zero depth scoring and beer-league goaltending.

I’ve said before that Drai is already asking buddies around the league about their cities but if they miss, and it’s because they’ve given him franchise D minutes for the last four years and he’s beat - and he somehow becomes the scapegoat and you know that’s what’ll happen, he’s gone too.

Giving Drai franchise D minutes?
