I just googled it. I don't know any NHLers myself.
Being from leaside is so hardcore torontonian

You don't see many players from Rexdale, Etobicoke or east york anymore

Mostly out of Markham and New Market now
Some out of Durham

Represent.

Midtown Toronto is a hotbed of hockey. But you get beyond that and it really drops off. You get pockets of Scarborough, Etobicoke and North York, but you can really divide it out by economic demographics. East York I think goes pretty strong still, got the Beaches in there for a big part of it.

I am from East York area. I don't hear many players coming out of here anymore
Maybe Oleksiak that I can think of. I guess they just go under Scarborough

Can’t think of a ton of NHL’ers either out of there right now, but the grassroots is there still I think.

I live midtown, work downtown. Round home, every third kid is wearing some kind of rep hockey gear, girls and boys. Down by work, and granted there isn’t so many kids running around downtown, but never see it.

Don't know if you remember him. He was WJC Star and really really fast.

Actually the Tanevs are from East York
