Detroit was long overdue for a massive correction. Awful 5 on 5 team that had been very efficient in converting their scoring chances while getting bailed out by Lyon.

No longer getting heroic goaltending and the goals have dried up. Larkin out hurts them of course, but this was predictable. That group of D is not good at all.

His ELC would make him a top 5 leaf and hed be the GOAT maple leaf if he played just 5 years here.

Just because he wont win Selke doesnt mean he isnt one of literally top 5 best centers in hockey defensively. I love how Dallas looks like they’re forward facing when they go north and they just advance at a coordinated team pace. And when Florida forechecks their D they just bounce off these guys. I think we had some good games vs Dallas this year but they matchup very well vs Florida. Just rolling. Even though they lost in the end.
