It's surprising that Jarmo lasted this long. At minimum should have been canned after the Babs fiasco. The Blue jackets are a very interesting opportunity for a new GM candidate

The Torts comments are definitely funny, but at the same.time complaining about young players is counter productive. They're not going anywhere, and you're not going to ice a team without them.

Boston is definitely struggling. It may end up being Florida/Tampa in the first round after all if Tampa ends up in the second wild card spot.

Which would actually be a really favourable match-up for the Leafs. The Bruins are neither fast nor physical anymore, the two attributes that the Leafs struggle with.

Modern Cup wins are fueled by a core group of guys that went beast mode at the right time. Leafs are contenders don't let anyone try to fool you otherwise.
Also doesn't hurt to get some LTIR help if we're sticking to modern formulas
They would become the No.2 and No.3 player in the league if they actually listen and do what Torts said.
