Boston, Tampa and Detroit all win tonight.

It's crazy that at this point in the season the Leafs have 3 games in hand on Tampa. Somewhere along the way Tampa is going to have a lot of days off.

Leafs now 13 points behind Boston with 2 games in hand. Will be tough to catch them.

If Boston say goes .500 the rest of the way with a 14-14-6 record they finish with 103 points.

Leafs would need to go 21-9-6 to finish with 104 points.

Don’t see that happening.

They are not. Their D has improved significantly. They have better structure in their game.

They have all bought into a team game first and it shows.

Bouchard and Ekholm have been excellent.

It makes me chuckle every time something like this happens andI remember that Auston Matthews' DOPS hearing was tweeted/scheduled before his game even ended, however this hit (one of the most universally agreed upon suspensions I've ever seen on the web) still remains without comment well into the next day.
