God help us if they go on a tear with the new coach bounce,,,, they give Alfie credit for the Sun coming up around here, it’ll be insufferable if they get hot.
What's funny is my friends in Ottawa are die-hard Leaf fans, with some Sens fans. In New Brunswick, die-hard Sens fans, always saying easy 2 points against the Leafs.

Good times.

Can’t believe in the year 2023 (soon to be 2024) Jacques Martin is head coach of the Senators and there’s a McCabe and Domi on the Leafs. Time is a flat circle.
Flat Circle...

Flat...

THE EARTH IS THEN FLAT RIGHT!? THIS IS THE BREAK IN THE CASE! :sarcasm:

jokes aside, it is definitely good time to be a leaf fan, even if we always complain and bicker  it can always be worse.

I agree he shouldn't be scrapping. Someone else should be stepping up for them.

Chabot's overpayment isn't an issue. Chabot's issue is staying healthy.

Coming off a 14 goal, 55 point season is worthy of a good contract, but even at 7.5 if you aren't in the line-up it is too much.
Can’t rein in the heart of a warrior, it’s what makes them great……..

Yeah that guy was a loose cannon amateur, it was raw sometimes entertaining radio, they still hate all things Toronto but like most media carefully pc now
I went to the University of Ottawa from 2005-2009 (when the Sens were at their zenith), the media up there was very homerish. I don't know it that's changed, but I doubt it.

It’s in their best interest to work with the Sens, it’s really the only game in town. I don’t listen a lot anymore but it’s a bare bones operation and likely on its last legs. Melnyk seemed very vindictive and punished those who wouldn’t toady to him a la Brent Wallace. Maybe the new owner does better

As entertaining as it would be I think the new regime wants to take the sideshow element out of their organization. Patty is a one man gang of unpredictable antics. I doubt they paid a billion to let Roy do his thing.
At least they'll miss the playoffs in style.

Wow thought the Sens would be blowing the leafs out of the water in the standings. Or maybe that was last year :sarcasm:

Meanwhile, remind me again of how tough the Atlantic division is? Detroit is back to sucking apples again, Ottawa, Buffalo and Montreal are Ottawa, Buffalo and Montreal, they have now been joined by a mediocre Tampa team, and Florida and Boston have looked very ordinary outside of short hot streaks. It's turning into one of the softest divisions in the league.

Jets not lookinglike a contender tonight against the Habs.

Martin as Head Coach and Alfredsson back with the Sens. Makes me nostalgic for all the beat downs we gave them in the early 2000s.

Merry Christmas DJ.

and yea... a happy new year
