I'm guessing this is a sign that the goalie market is pretty dry. Funny enough, Samsonov would probably be a perfect fit for Carolina. Relatively cheap, only one year left, and can split time with Andersen, assuming the latter returns this season.

They should be doing better.

Tkachuk shouldn't be going out of his way to get into fights. Certainly wouldn't want Matthews trying to be a policeman out there. Stick up for himself and other yes, but well of his regular linemates marner or Nylander sticking up for a mate? Knies appears to be willing, Domi yes.

Chabot yearly injury, Pinto's friends don't help.

You would think they'd do everything, but maybe it's like Toronto new guy giving the coach one last kick at the can?

I think there are some excellent pieces on that team.

Deep pockets.

Sometimes you just have to fire the coach, even if he's a good one, and if you don't know he's a good one fire him sooner.

Feel like the ask is probably a lot more because the market demand is high and supply is limited.

How can Tkachuk be built for the playoffs, when he isn't even built for the regular season? Sure he likes to scrap, but how is that helping the team?

Chabot was an overpayment from the start. No way is he worth $8M.

Speaking of Tkachuks, anyone notice that the one in Florida is having a pretty poor season so far?

A good time for them to make a coaching change. I just hope they hire Jacques Martin or some retread instead of a good available coach.

I agree he shouldn't be scrapping. Someone else should be stepping up for them.

Chabot's overpayment isn't an issue. Chabot's issue is staying healthy.

Coming off a 14 goal, 55 point season is worthy of a good contract, but even at 7.5 if you aren't in the line-up it is too much.

Ottawa sports radio was equally as bad. Don Romani commented on how Domi "probably beats his wife". He was canned after the station received a letter from Domi's lawyers.
