I know everyone says the Sens won't fire the coach this season, and will deal with it in the off-season... if they go winless on this road trip, I cannot see him surviving.

That being said, I don't think that is a winning roster either, but expectations were high coming into this season.

I think the usual suspects will come out of the West. Vancouver obviously looks good right now, and anything can happen if Demko turns in a star performance, but I think it would be a stretch to see them go a few rounds. I imagine most people will pick LA to come out of the West as they have become the fashionable choice, but I don't trust any team that claims Cam Talbot as its number one goalie. He is too unpredictable, especially under heavy usage.

In the East, I really just see the Leafs and the Rangers, and the wild card that is the New Jersey Devils. If Hamilton comes back before the playoffs AND they acquire a goalie, they may end up being the class of the East.

I think the Rangers are frauds and won't go anywhere.

I’ll give Methot a little credit he admits to trolling and does it with a bit of humour. The leaf hatred and absolute wackiness coming from a lot of Sens fandom and media is often unhinged around here and very entertaining at times, like lately.
