Also should be telling hospital staff, this guy is a pro athlete wink wink. Even if it is the Arizona Coyotes they still have more money than Joe Blow who got shot in the arm.

The Islanders are playing well. I don't think Boston will get a point from this one. Very good chance they lose to the Rangers on Saturday, as well. If you remove Boston's first 6 games against garbage can teams, their record is very ordinary. They aren't a great team. My guess is that Toronto will be tied with Boston by the Christmas break.

Yeah Boston can't get anything going 5 on 5. They need some talent up front

But how about that Islanders' power play. Boston just looks very, very ordinary. The legend of what they are no longer matches the reality of what they are.
 
I know everyone says the Sens won't fire the coach this season, and will deal with it in the off-season... if they go winless on this road trip, I cannot see him surviving.

That being said, I don't think that is a winning roster either, but expectations were high coming into this season.

I can't remember a season where goaltending was as unpredictable as this season. The guys who should be dominant - Sorokin, Shesterkin, etc. - are not playing well at all. I guess this is why a team shouldn't allocate a lot of cap space to goaltending. In the middle of all of this chaos, the most reliable guy in the league is the guy who won the Cup last season.

Last I heard league average goaltending was .902. Wonder if it's dropped since then.
 
Sad effort by Ottawa to tie it. Definitely been taking our 6 on 5 prowess for granted the past 2 seasons

Lol. You gotta be kidding me. Boston is a class above everyone in the Atlantic right now. Hopefully that changes but that’s the reality right now. You need to take the homer glasses off. Optimism is great dont get me wrong but don’t ignore reality.

I don't want Ottawa to figure it out any time soon but Christ it's insane that DJ Smith has lasted as long as he has there with ever increasing expectations and the same dismal failure year after year after year.

They lost Bergeron and Krejci, replaced them with no one and we still can't keep up... It will be fun once they trade for 1C.
