Don't know what happened to him, maybe it was Torts and the system he implemented, but Wennberg did not play well the last 2 season in Cbus.

I would take him at 50% retained, but not at his current cap hit and contract. Not that it is horrific given that he is nearly a 30 goal scorer, etc, but It would add complications for us and limit other depth signings in the future.

Good point, didn't notice the cap hit. with a stagnant cap over the next few years (and possibly beyond), best not to be taking on any salary that isn't going to expire in a year.
