I just don’t see how Cal is back next year with Copley signed as the backup, Portillo coming in and in Korpi or some other guy as the starter.

My guess is Cal's future factors little into the decision making since the Kings have given him enough $$ to retire as it stands. I think Blake is going to look at all options to get rid of his contract.. and I hope he doesnt give up any more high picks as you mentioned.. I believe it would be better to let him ride pine behind Portillo and sweat out one more season w him in the org until the cheaper buyout is available.

Gotta admire the spunk though, ate it and kept throwing....note that was his 2nd fight of the game. To give some perspective- Kings have 8 fights this season. I kinda miss the old days where there would almost be a fight per game. Gave a reason for fans to watch losing teams. I wonder what Phil Crowe is up to these days. I know what Jim Thompson is doing- hes on FB all the time.

Well, at the very least the race for the final spot in the West and final 2 in the East are going to be great. Hoping its Nashville or Winnipeg in the West and Florida and NY Islanders in the East.

But you choose to bring it up a day later to criticize people that called him out for that comment. Those comments are a really good representation of our forum and the people who post here, how dare anyone criticize!
