Even with a 5-5 split Blues would basically have to win out all their games.I can see a 5-5 split in there honestly.

Vegas(88) have 9 games left , Blues(82) have 9 games left , LA(87) have 10 games left
If the Blues win out (9-0) LA would need a (7-3) record (6-4 last in previous 10) and/or Vegas would need a 6-3 record, if the Blues lose just 2 games(Edm-Carol-Dallas all fighting for 1st in their divisions so tough games) LA would only need 5-5 and Vegas 4-5, The Blues aren't making it.
sure sure sure but something truly catastrophic and seemingly impossible happened in the final 11 games of the 2003-04 seasonDon’t even have to go back that far,
Don’t forget 2015 when all the kings had to do was beat Calgary or Edmonton
Was that the year Tkachuk embarrassed our entire franchise or was that later?Don’t even have to go back that far,

That's not Dwight King's fault.Dwight King, 1st line LW.
Then as if Sutter couldn't be even more of a dick, healthy scratched Jordan Weal who was recalled from Manchester to play in the final game, for..Dwight King. Weal's family flew out and was there for that epic moment.

If Edmonton wins their game in hand, they'll be 2 points behind Vancouver, with a head-to-head matchup coming up.
Still possible Oilers could win the division.
So many things would have shaken out differently if that team just squeaks into the playoffs and puts up a competitive first round.
Here for it just to watch Vancouvers Fan's head explode. The perfect scenario, Edmonton gets Las Vegas and Vancouver gets LA, Winnipeg gets Dallas/Colorado, all 3 Western Canadian Teams lose in the first round, add in Toronto losing to Boston/Florida and the 93' curse continues. If Edmonton wins their game in hand, they'll be 2 points behind Vancouver, with a head-to-head matchup coming up.

Mike Babcock bullsh*t there. That's pretty f**ked up.Dwight King, 1st line LW.

We know about the reality. Don’t ruin the fantasy.I see at least 12-13 points in the remaining 10 games for the Kings. They will (easily) be in the playoffs.
As a Red Sox fan, there is no "all they have to do is___"after 2011. They were in first in the AL on Sept 1 and missed the playoffs entirely by blowing a 9th inning lead against a bottom dwelling team in game 162.I see at least 12-13 points in the remaining 10 games for the Kings. They will (easily) be in the playoffs.
We shouldn’t be hoping for Vancouver as if they’re our ticket to the 2nd round. The Canucks were unable to figure out the 1-3-1 in a couple nothing regular season games. Give them a series and 7 games to make adjustments against a team that’s allergic to adjusting and they will likely figure it out like all the other good teams have. Here for it just to watch Vancouvers Fan's head explode.
