4 games on your first suspension, youre a marked man by the league. better learn or his career will be short

Sheesh God forbid anything like Rempe's cheap shot happens to one of our players. I can just see it now; nothing will be done about it. LOL. Still waiting for Toby's payback. Hope Mac gets a hold of him when he gets back.

Still blows my mind that we’ve got the second coming of Viktor Arvidsson leading the AHL in scoring and they’ve never tried him with Moore and Danault.

Byfield - Kopitar - Kempe
Moore - Danault - Fagemo
Turcotte - Dubois - Kaliyev
Lizotte - Lewis - Laferriere

What have we got to lose?

Ive wondered why they havent put him there.
They showed him video of Arvidsson so he can model his game after him.

I keep seeing this comparison on our forum. Not just from yourself. Outside of both being a right handed shoot first players how is Fagemo anything like Arvidsson? The latter has much better vision, IQ, two-way play, and plays a hard nosed tenacious game.

Or he could be the second coming of TJ Tynan. I'd love to see him break out with this team. I think he actually turns 24 tomorrow so the clock is indeed ticking on this guy.

Especially when we're not playing Kaliyev.

Like hello?

Fagemo is not a kid anymore, and the odds are certainly stacked against him ever being an NHL scorer. But he also provides a finishing *potential* that you are just never going to get from the guys who have been tried up there filling in for injured players. We don't know if Fagemo could score enough to overcome his lack of overall game, and we know he's not as good all-around as Lizotte, Turcotte, JAD, Grundstrom and Laf and wouldn't be a better fit on the bottom lines. But we also know that none of those guys have the offensive talent that Fagemo has, to be playing in scoring roles. When it comes to being put in a scoring role, Fagemo is better suited for it than those guys. Let all of them be effective bottom-six guys and stop trying to make non-scorers into scoring line players.

Did we waive Fiala?

It's silly to write off the Fagemo and Arvidsson comparisons considering it took a while for Arvidsson to become the player he is. He at one point had 16 pts in 56 games and some AHL time, he didn't immediately look ready, but I bet you he's glad he got that many games in the NHL to struggle through. Fagemo has played less than 20 games with the Kings spread out over 3 seasons. Tough to find your groove that way.

There's a massive reach. One of the glaring things between Fagemo and Arvidsson is one can find space on the ice to get his shot off and the other cannot. I watched a couple of game when he was in Nashville and he had no space to shoot or didn't make the adjustments to find it, even with limited minutes. It was the same here, he couldn't find space without someone in the lane or smothering him. his only goal in Nashville was on the pp 2nd unit. Now watch him play in the AHL and all those spaces are now open and guys aren't on top of him soon as he get the puck. No one doubts he can score, he just can't seem to do it at this level no matter how many minutes he plays. I'm not sure if an extra 5 min will really matter.

He's played as many minutes this season as Doughty has played in two games.

Those are some pretty sweeping evaluations to be made, and color me skeptical that you're watching Nashville and Ontario games to evaluate a player you've been motherf***ing all month.

They don't want to play ANY of the kids right now. Turcotte and Clarke only get sippy cups of coffee, Kaliyev might as well be a leper. None would even be considered if they were healthy. Spence's time has been cut in the second half of games so Moverare can get the minutes.

They aren't hard to read. Regardless of the most likely outcome, they are going vet-heavy to leave the slump behind and enter the playoff push. Its a shame, it will cost them time (at the least) later, and they are so far from winning that their choices seem ridiculous, but their decisions are logical to their intentions.
