This kid is on the radar.. goal per game at every level so far

Committed to Minnesota? New England isn't gonna look at him favorably!

Kudos to Carolina, they've kept on chugging along without Svechnikov, Pacioretty, and Teravainen.

Disappointing end for the Devils but certainly the most fun regular season in over a decade. I figure the D will be a work in progress next year with Graves/Severson likely leaving via free agency and being replaced with Bahl/Hughes.

SIAP. Tough crowd. But he's definitely not the coddle type. He may need to be their best player next season if they take a step.

Disappointing end is fair, but on the bright side that is a young and exciting team. I feel like some people still equate the Devils to "boring trap" hockey, when in fact they may be the most exciting team in the league to watch.

I always like to point out that the 1997-2001 Devils were right there offensively with the Red Wings and Avalanche of that era. I always like to ask the question of who scored more the 2000-01 Devils (295 goals) or the 2001-02 Red Wings (251) that had a bunch of HoFers. Felt like those teams got unfairly lumped in with being boring.

Although I fully concede that the 2003 team was tough to watch.

The LA Kings way!!!
well
the kings way would be to place him in the pressbox in limbo and basically separate him from the team except for practice for most of the season. that way, despite being able to help the team, the player could learn a valuable lesson about god only knows what

Oh, I agree. The Devils teams were stacked, I think they get unfairly criticized because they did play a trap and were frustrating to play against. The 96 Panthers were what was wrong with the dead puck era, not the Devils teams littered with star players.

I wonder if Carolina will find themselves in another Jack Johnson type situation with Alexander Nikishin.

I know they said they don't want to trade him, but one can dream.

Carolina is a very tough team to play against. Very well structured and disciplined.

Superior possession-based team, getting good goaltending from Andersen. They outshoot their opponents almost ever night. Also an excellent penalty killing team. All of those things carried over from the regular season.

Rod Brind'Amour is an outstanding coach and has his team running on all cylinders right now. Very well could be their year.

It's weird, I feel like every year Carolina absolutely dummies everyone except the absolute top teams--their peers--that can get to their achilles heel, their goaltending.

Would love to see it different this year.

Coming in peace

I’ve noticed many kings posters only remain on their own boards when discussing this years playoffs.

Though I’ve had some hiccups with Kings fans in the past, I’d still prefer you guys converse on the main boards during these playoffs.

It makes better converse having diversity in the discussions.

Cheers

Honestly lost my stuff on the main boards this year with Oiler fans (Not all but more than a few). I said my piece in regards to the EDM v LV series prior to. Peace of my mind is first and foremost at this time of year. Kings fans on this board in general are humble and knowledgeable peeps. It's a good place to chill. Maybe we can convert you from the dark side?

Yeah, as said above, there were quite a few which just ruined the overall experience of talking hockey with rivals.
