At least Kraken fans weren’t calling for him to be traded like they would on here if Byfield did that

Grunhauer doing what we expected Korpisalo to do

Also Kraken have a gritty playoff squad not a bunch of soft midgets

Yes, Kings fans are being so unfair to the least productive #2 pick in this century. We were clearly all expecting to much.

The two players are not even comparable right now. Beniers is younger and just way better in all facets of the game. This is the type of player you should expecting to get from a #2 overall pick.

Glad I stayed up for that, wild game

Is someone going to tell these teams that you're not supposed to play aggressive hockey, what a bunch of 2nd round idiots

Really did think one team was gonna gas out before the W though

Seattle is a very likable team.

They don't have a ton of skill, but they play hard on every shift and they put their players in a position to succeed. Alot of guys with a chip on their shoulder for sure.

Hakstol is just a way better coach than TM and Francis has built a better **team** than Blake.

Wasn't he fired from the Flyer before this gig?

whoa whoa whoa, we're not that bad  . He was ran out on a rail from what I remember .
Ron Hextall was a complete disaster with the Flyers (and Penguins too) To steal a line from the upcoming Oppenheimer movie, Ron Hextall "is Death, the destroyer of worlds” when it comes to GM'ing teams.

And you still had Holmgren and Clarke's ineptness too. It didn't matter who the coach was.

He has more than proven himself in Seattle this season, that is not some great roster and they beat the Avs and just won Game 1 in Dallas. They are now a betting favorite to make at least the WCF in his 2nd year with an expansion team.

I think he had a better team in Seattle year 1 than anything in Philly for sure. Didn't it have something to do with not starting Hart right from his draft year?

Dom's modeling didn't do too well in the 1st round.

Betting on the first round playoffs in the NHL is kinda like setting your cash on fire. I guess there's entertainment value. Teams are so even now that the team with the better regular season record wins only about 60-65% of the series on average.

Edit: Just looked it up for shits and giggles. Since the lockout, the higher ranked team has only won 60% of the series in the first round. All time it's 62%.

Pulling for Kraken/Knights conference final with the Kraken going to the Stanley Cup. The Kraken are playing like a complete team. Every player is contributing.

Interesting....Look at the D of Seattle, Vegas, Edmonton - all big.

Who is playing well for the Leafs - Luke Schenn.

And Blake is out here saying our shrimp D core is fine. LOL.
Watched Blake exit interview with the media. Wasn't impressed. He didn't sound optimistic about resigning either Gorvi or Korpi or both. Basically made it be known that he is very pleased with TMac and his assistants and stated this off season he will only try reshaping the team with the prospects. He did say he is hoping that Clark will be able to crack the line up and stay with the Kings the whole season.

To whomever out there that is making these – I salute you.

Schenn was on the Kings, everyone wanted to get rid of him. He was the Durzi of his time here. Human pylon was used quite often. All he is is a tougher version of Edler, same flaws. And another righty. People lost thier shit over a 5th round pick in 2024 for Mckewen, Schenn cost a 3rd in this years draft.
