Intermissions really became unwatchable the past few seasons. We would mute it and do something else until play resumed.

Jennifer was one dimensional and Hrudey had the charisma of a wet sock. Ron hasn’t been the same without Grapes and Bieksa brought a little bit more life to the broadcast than I expected.

However they change things, I don’t think they are getting many eyeballs to stick in intermission.

Hope they get rid of Jeff Marek, he spends 90% of his air time updating us on the continued failings of professional women’s hockey league .

It's hard to disagree.

Once Grapes was ousted, MacLean was on borrowed time. You just can't mess with a winning combination like that and there not be a fallout. I sort of thought MacLean betrayed Cherry (despite controversy). I could no longer watch him.

I like Hrudey and Bieska. I hope they find new gigs if they want to continue in hockey broadcasting.


I wonder if Kyper will be the new face of Hockey Night (Don't kill me. I'm just speculating).

I'm all for it. I turn the channel so fast when hes on.

He ruined hockey central, and ruins anything he touches.

HNIC was overshadowed by awful betting schemes and ads. That was the biggest problem with their intermission show.

They had alright analysts and whatever, but lacked a lot of personality. They were boring. Bieksa was the best of the bunch.

Gally tried to cash his pay cheque and it got bounced bc the Yotes told him the money is only available after the season begins.
And due to that, it is a violation against Yotes rules and now his contract is being terminated
