Blues next 3 should all be wins for them easily, Wild need to keep pace if they want home ice...really sucks that we are still without Greenway, Dumba and now Foligno

Chicago's trade for Seth Jones could lose them a top 6 pick in this year's draft. Add to that Columbus got Jake Bean, Adam Boqvist and Cole Sillinger for Seth Jones and Nolan Allan, that looks like an even worse trade for Chicago.

I really like how Columbus is doing this rebuild. I worry about Kent Johnson a bit, but I can't argue with their approach: get as much young forward talent as possible. Add in 2 more top tier picks to their current group and they're moving the right way.

Sometimes i wonder if Johnson is going to be the next Mittlestadt. Have to say i liked CM when he was drafted, though.

I could see it. Both have high skill level with below average skating and compete. I think he'll be fine but he needs to be developed properly.

What do you think of Gauthier? I kind of like him, especially if he can play C.
Yeah i like the skillset. I think he's a Dylan Holloway type. Not interested in him being the main part of a Fiala deal though.

I'm hoping that either he, Chesley, or Kasper are still there when we pick. McGroarty I am less sure of. I would hope that we get a prospect with more high end potential in a fiala return.

Avalanche likely to have nothing to play for the last game of the season, on the 2nd of back-to-backs.

Florida is 4 up with both having 3 games left. Two of Florida's three remaining is Ottawa and Montreal.

I ripped Guerin a bit for not going harder after Eichel. I am here to admit I was wrong. Wild are one of the best teams in the league this year and Vegas has been incredibly disappointing with Eichel looking like he's absolutely disinterested frequently.

People thought I was crazy for not wanting him. He has all the physical tools in the world, but he still have the mentality of a teenager.

I thought I read in one of the main board threads, since Eichel came off IR, the Knights and the Sabres have the same amount of points. Plus, in the last 4 games (when they've needed him most IMHO) he has 0 points and is a -2, or something like that.

Yeah I don't know what it is with him, something intangible I guess. A guy with his skill and size should absolutely dominate games. He just seems to make really stupid plays sometimes. Timo Meire's goal in the last game came as a direct result of Eichel vacating his defensive position to go chase a puck he had no f***ing chance of getting to. I'm happy Vegas gutted their depth for him and the other shiney toys they just had to trade for lol

Doesn't hurt that Tuch has been playing out of his mind.

McDavid wins his 4th Art Ross, tying him with Stan Mikita for 6th most in NHL history. First is Gretzky with 10, second are Howe and Lemieux with 6. That means McDavid should (relatively easily) surpass them by the time his career is over, and could be the one to pass Gretzky as well (or at least tie him).

In Crosby's first eight seasons, he had 1 Art Ross. He only has 2 total. Injuries are a big part of his lack of hardware, sure, but there's value in staying healthy.

This Pens & Rangers game is very good, and the series should be full of offense. NYR scored with 3:10 left in the 3rd when it was tied at 3 but it was called back for goaltender interference.

Malkin looks like shit
