Ottawa also has already drafted a bunch of high end players in Stützle, Tkachuk, Chabot, Sanderson etc.

We're nowhere near where they are when it comes to our prospect pool.

And yes, I think it's a lot, especially since they don't have an extension in place as of right now.

It's the reverse if you look at the main boards. Most people seem to think that Ottawa screwed Chicago by only giving up that much for a 40 goal scorer. And they may be right.

Rem Pitlick wasn't qualified. I thought he would easily be, being around .5ppg. A guy I'd certainly be cool with the Kraken looking into. Maybe I'm missing something about his game.

I just wanted to post the news. Little to no interest in signing him unless he just wants a 2 year deal. If that works, I would throw 8-9 M AAV at him.

I think worse than the bleak UFA crop, we are going to have to deal with some crazy GM's trying to get the 'best' players in the class. Just hope Francis is not one of them.

Its also reported being 6.125M AAV. That is a lot of AAV and term for a complimentary player.

I think it's what he would have gotten on the open market, but man... 8 years. That's a lot at that AAV. 5-6 is more digestible.
