Every year I post a ranking of the league on the main board using Elo score.
(Elo starts at 2500 and uses K of 100)

It basically shows which teams are "hot" right now.

I haven't done so this year because of the weird league configuration.

But I figured I would split it by division and share what it looks like now.

I almost feel bad for them, good thing I still recall how cocky they all were when both our rebuilds were in their infancies. It really is astounding how that team has nothing going for them and hasn't improved since Eichel was drafted. They can't score, they can't defend, and absolutely no one over there cares. You'd think they'd be prolific in at least one area of the game after being so bad for so long, but alas.

Dahlin's a pending RFA too .. I can't see him taking a team-friendly deal with how things are going there. He may even ask for a trade, especially if Eichel is traded.

We're a deep team, no big deal to lose a guy with the ceiling of a fourth liner. But kind of nice to see. Always would have rather had him in the system over Malgin as Malgin never made sense based on the type of player he is vs. the type of player we needed.

That was a great trade for us. It's hard for people to get excited about Malgin when he is over in Switzerland right now, but we traded a guy who we got from signing an AHL contract and received a guy who is going almost a PPG and leading his team in scoring at 24 in the NLA, and has a lot more NHL experience right now.

If his shot improved at all, Malgin could be a top 9 player for us next year. That is the only thing preventing him from being another Johnsson for us. He plays a very similar style of game with better hands and playmaking ability.

Just beautiful. While we keep winning too.

We're bound to lose and have an off game here and there.. but we are just solid on a consistent basis and even some games we've lost we looked better with bad bounces going against us.
We are really good this year... I just hope the confidence continues once we face challenges outside our division that we aren't use to.. and if we do... Use this experience to bounce back stronger. We know they have it in them.
