Mittelstadt is TRASH
I'd trade for him - will be cheap...

Drouin is not a good linemate for him imo... everyone he's had chemistry with ends up traded by Colorado

He was good with Tuch and Skinner - a power forward and a shooter

Ehlers-Mittelstadt-Iafallo could be good but then Perfetti is knocked to 4th line

He still had a good playoff against us last year.

With some of the injuries around the league have to think Nelson and Palmieri get lots of calls, in spite of being -3 and -4 respectively against a Rangers team that is selling off potential UFAs and giving the rope to younger players, forcing their core to amp it up.

Reilly Smith I guess is also off the table, his NTC includes all of Canada so it's at least equal opportunity.

I'd like to see an unprotected (no trade clauses) available trade list of pending UFAs.

Donato is probably #1on that list.
Per Puckpedia…

Would think players would like the us-cdn exchange - they can bank $$ like crazy here and should have enough $$ to pay an accountant to avoid taxes

dreger said nelson would be a player of interest for the jets on his podcast today
also mentioned if we don't get the big piece up front we may swing a bit harder on a d-man
Is there a player available that dreger/friedman havent mentioned as 'of interest' to the jets haha... i think everyone has been covered at this point

I'm sure you can bank pretty good dollars too in a lot of southern states, excluding California, without taxes, and media scrutiny.

From what I been told, she's putting in a brave face online about being in WPG

More like TMZ204.

I think with the cap situation, that the Jets can compete with offers he might get from other teams in UFA, so it'll likely just come down to whether he wants to stick around or not.

I never heard McDavid's name mentioned which is weird because he would be a player of interest for the Jets.
In my best Friedman voice ... My sources say ....

in the way of that ....

but you never know ....

we will find out .....

on Friday.

That is someone many in here wanted. I wonder if Geekie is up for sale. I'd take him as a solid middle 6 C that can play up or down the lineup.

Steal? Seems about where he should be. 25-35 point per season 3C/4C.

Frank S said today on DFO Rundown that the Habs were expecting to return something in the ballpark of a "late first" for Evans.

Something is in the water over there.

It cost Edmonton a couple C prospects and a 2nd and a 4th.

That's with 75% retention, too. Doesn't seem that bad at all cost wise.

Not really making a judgement on the value one way or another juat stating the cost.

Big day in the trade market when Frederic and Evans go off the board. Thursday is probably the beginning of moving day.

Only thing that is discernable from Frederic trade is that it is a sellers market with more buyers than sellers.

The cost being with 75% retention, which is the reason why I quoted you to add that caveat.

I'm not a huge Frederic fan by any means - he likely helps Edmonton's depth, but it'd be nice to see the market hopefully stay relatively in check with what's left being a buyer.
