I think this is the most teams I've ever cheered for at one time in the NHL... I'm cheering for like 9 teams behind the Pens to do well over the final stretch and catch them. Even if only a few do so it will do wonders for that draft pick.

playoffs are still likely for the Pens, but at least I'm liking the chances of an early exit for them. I just hope they aren't lucky enough to get the Isles first, because that team doesn't look that great anymore

Flames are screwed. Give up a crucial point against DAllas last night and looked like complete **** doing it. Only the two very unlikely D goals by somebody that's never scored before keeping them in it.

Calgary just ABYSMAL in own end without Giordano and I was laughing out loud at the constant barrage fo quality chances they give up. D backing right in, guys being beat right around the crease, players just walking into the slot and wiring it.

Flames, goaltending, sheet of extra apparent plexiglass, horseshoe just in case. What a complete joke the game was. This was the easiest game Ales Hemsky had seen since I don't know why. Was allowed all the time all night to do anything with Flames just backing in like mental defectives.

Calgary was SO bad Hemsky could have scored 4 goals and Flames were making Hemmer and Horcoff rock like it was 2006. lmfao

If theres a bigger joke team than the Flames in a playoff race I'm not seeing them.

I don't have one bad thing to say about the Flames. They have better ownership, a better president, a better more qualified Gm, a better coach, whats looking like better young players to build around, have NOT imploded after their best dman went down.

Seasons like Calgary is having, Colorado had last year and the Sens had three years ago all totally highlight how utterly much of an utterly inept clown show we have running this team. We can't even fluke out one year of slight over acheivement to come anywhere close to the playoffs let alone be in a playoff spot or beyond.

I hope Calgary makes it in. I hope Vancouver and Winnipeg make it in, it just makes the yakkety sax crew running this team look all the better.

It is almost impossible for OTT and BOS to catch up. PIT still has 4 "free-points" coming up (ARI and BUF) over the final stretch.

I can't imagine how Ol 6 Rings and the entire clown show of a management group go up to the Tier 1 fans and explain how patience is a virture when their biggest arhcrival manages to make the playoffs in Year2 of their official rebuild. We're in Year5 of our official rebuild and we're still a bottom 3 team. Going into Year 6, is there any optimism with this team?

You do realize that we almost did the same thing the year after we drafted Sam Gagner? We just missed the playoffs that year.

Minny is impressive. Tie game.besides the flames goal all 12 minutes have been played in their zone. Minnesota moves the puck around nicely

EVERY team moves the puck nicely against the Flames who have abysmal own zone coverage and should be giving up 5 goals a game since Giordano went down.
