Habs flying, dominating Toronto. Were impressive in the playoffs, added some good key pieces and if PRice stays healthy, will have a strong year. Have a fast, uptempo style that is fun to watch. Suzuki can fly. They are up 3-1, midway thru game.
Leafs continue Leaf, 1 game in new season.

Toffoli looks good. Always involved in the scoring chances thus far.

Canucks are idiots not to sign him – it seems they are now looking for a scoring winger:
Dreger: Canucks looking to trade for top 6 winger

Lol Thank God we don't have Benning and Co.

It felt like the refs got too involved in the Habs-Leafs game there in the second period. Ignoring the blatant high stick on Danult, then following that up with a series of weak calls against the Habs(obviously I'm not talking about the puck over glass). It really felt like they were trying to even up the calls, since the Habs had a couple in the 1st period.

Habs aren't going anywhere yet. That whole fanbase things Suzuki and Kotkaniemi's going to lead them to the promise land like this year. LOL. Not knocking on the players just too soon.

He's gonna fit in just fine there and has the type of experience they need in the playoffs. Benning continues to shoot himself in the foot.

Wayne Night Train Simmonds sent Charot to his knees after 2 straight punches to his face. Good to have hockey back. It’s too bad both teams can’t lose for all these Canadian division games. But I am rooting for Wayne to bounce back.

On a side note how the heck is St. Louis and Chicago not in the same Division. Dallas should be in the West.

All Canadian division games must end in shootouts, with teams alternating taking the SOL.

Never liked the other Subban in net... he gives up way too many softies and makes bad decisions that ultimately leads to goals.

Chicago doesn't have Crawford or Lehner now. Gonna be a long, short season for them if they can't stop pucks.

I never heard about Dach breaking his wrist. Out for 4-5 months, that sucks for Chicago. No Toews, no Dach for an extended period of time.
Do a Google search on his injury. The pictures are horrific. Hope he doesn’t have any long term issues.

It’s gnarly. Same thing happened to me in high school (jammed my wrist getting hit from behind into the boards). When it gets jammed and breaks like that it’s the craziest sensation, not necessarily painful at first but it feels like a million pins and needles. You know right away, then you look at it and then you REALLY know. Dach knew right away and bolted off. Shitty feeling.

Of note: my broken wrist happened at Staples Center
