Not really around the league, but incredible. My cousin played D1 women’s hockey and she raved about UNDs facility and rink, even the seats in the arena. Never saw this detail though.

As a Canadian it’s sometimes still hard to wrap my head around how much money there is in college sports in the states. It’s nothing like that here. I’ve even seen high school facilities from the USA that are way beyond our college/universities here and they draw bigger crowds to their games, too.

My understanding is that it was completely funded by some rich guy that had briefly played there way back. Not sure if it's true, but my cousin said he would only provide the funding if UND kept the "Fighting Sioux" name (as there was pressure to change it) and she said the Fighting Sioux logo is all over the arena (in the leather chairs, in granite, etc..) so that it can't easily be removed. She said the chairs in the stands are leather with cherry arm rests.

Just incredible..

Speaking of nice locker rooms, we win! We win! By a landslide! The players have spoken!

I'd rather we go further in the direction of making things more uncomfortable, maybe even dangerous, in the visiting locker room. Perhaps make all those locker room stalls the players have to sit at be made of the fused-together skate blades of our fallen opponents a la the iron throne. Or add some of those things they used to have in castles, what do you call them....murder holes! That's the one. Dump some scalding hot whatever the heck they fry Bojangles chicken in through them on occasion? Do one of those sound torture things and have an endless loop of Adam Gold opining on things at an incredibly high volume. I dunno, feel free to have some fun with it.

Aho and Kotkaniemi posters on the walls when certain team is visiting?

visitor locker rooms should be trash, why spend money on other teams' comforts when traveling?
The only positive thing about having a nice visitor locker room is leaving a positive impression on other players to attract them as a free agents.

"Wow, these locker rooms are pretty nice, they must really take care of their players, blah blah blah"

That said, money and a successful team will always top that, but I could see these locker rooms having some negative impact during the dark ages.

Holy shit, that's too cruel. You out here committing war crimes like you're a Canadian. Bravo good sir.

Easy solution, put a picture of the Canes locker room in the visitors dumpy basement locker room
