I could be wrong but I thought Carrie Underwood was a Predators fan even prior to meeting Fisher when he was with the Senators.

I mean even after they got married and he got traded to Nashville it didn't really move the needle all that much, maybe the Finals run in 2017 did but overall the impact wasn't there. And we all know who Carrie Underwood is, I've never heard of this Dixie person. I also don't play video games anymore so I couldn't tell you who is on what cover these days. Eric Staal was 2008 IIRC and that was the only one I really cared about.

Yes, because if there's one thing that will suddenly get me interested in basketball, it's that random social media influencer I follow dating an NBA player!! :sarcasm:
 
From what I saw some dude wanted to be more than friends.

I'm not that active on Twitter but I'd never seen him before, the person on the other end and everyone coming to her defense yes.
 
This is a bad day for hockey. I remember talking about this guy during his draft year. He was drafted with the pick right after Jarvis and there was significant debate at the time about who would be the better choice for the Hurricanes. Never take life for granted, and more importantly, check yourself if you're not feeling well, even if you are as young as he was. RIP Rodion Amirov.

Really sad. Just 21 is awful.

so damn sad. I loved him as a prospect that year but none of that hockey stuff even matters, no kid this young should have to go through this. RIP Rodion
