The west is doable. Boston on the other hand...
Avs look bad last 2 games. Honestly if Colorado didn’t make it and the Flames picked up the final wild card and played Dallas I wouldn’t even be upset.
5 straight years leading the league in power plays breeds entitlement.

I think the Avs could be in some trouble if Manson is out for the season. While I'm not a huge fan, he seemed to pick up his defensive game away from the Ducks (shocking!) and was pretty good for them in the playoffs from what I recall.
And if the Oilers are concerned about Campbell, the Avs should be concerned about Georgiev (maybe not quite as concerned, but he has history of being very mediocre for stretches as much as Campbell is very good for stretches)

Imagine this is low risk motivation with the Laffs firmly fixed as their playoff performance. A little head dance to send a little jolt to a team that's not rolling with its usual winning and effort level.
