I think Edmonton is weaker than they were last year, but they're still my pick to win the cup. It'll depend on their goaltending IMO.I think Edmonton catches Vegas and LA.

I was way off on that draft. I thought there were real chances in the top 20 to be franchise defining for teams and there was going to be the next crop of stars from this draft.Kakko hasn't been dealt the easiest hand, but let's call a spade a spade, he is one of the worst Top 2 picks in recent memory.
Maybe if he gets a change of scenery he could develop into a 25 goal middle six type, but this was another giant whiff by the scouting community when it comes to that draft. Kakko, Dach, Turcotte, Podkolzin, can safely throw Zegras in their now too. That was certainly the year you really wanted to win the lottery.
Kaliyev for Kakko straight up. Throw in some IN-N-OUT gift cards if needed.Kakko hasn't been dealt the easiest hand, but let's call a spade a spade, he is one of the worst Top 2 picks in recent memory.

The Rangers haven't been great with developing forwards for the past few years, either. Aside from Cuylle, the Rangers haven't really done much.Kakko hasn't been dealt the easiest hand, but let's call a spade a spade, he is one of the worst Top 2 picks in recent memory.

But it hasnt been long and Dach Byram Podklozin Newhook Broberg Thomson Krebs already have been dealt. Wouldnt be surprised if Cozens Kakko Turcotte Zegras and Knight are also moved at some point sooner than later.
A lot of them still loom like kids and havent really developed much physically.
Celebrini just scored another. one, where he shot the puck - seeing eye - while not even looking at the target... its nuts
You have to be playing a pass in that situation, and that means your legs are moving and opening up holes. What’s nuts is that an NHL goalie would let that slide under him from that distance.

It's got so bad that Pegula had a meeting with the team yesterday. They immediately proceeded to shit the bed against Montreal afterwards.Buffalo is in absolute shambles
I'm fully expecting the Rags and Sabres to fire their coaches if they keep losing. I think Nashville perma buck broke NY yesterday. Its still early though, Edmonton had a godawful start and they sacked their coach @ the most opportune time, ending up in the Finals. It's got so bad that Pegula had a meeting with the team yesterday. Terry is a really poor speaker, and he's getting up there in age. I imagine his meeting/speech with the team went over terribly and was awkward.
Please trade us Cozens.
I'm not sure Borgen has any value at all. He's terrible this year, and a pending UFA. I think he's thrown in primarily to balance out the salaries.
So Kaako's value is a 3rd and a 6th?
