Caps have built a decent team.

They overachieved last season compared to what I thought they'd be, now they look potentially pretty strong.

Carberry has done a solid job there too.

Matt Roy got hurt in their first game as well so they've been without him.

Younger players like McMichael and Protas look like they might have taken a step forward this year.

It's also funny because a lot of people (especially Pens fans) claimed that the Caps only existed solely for Ovie's goal chase.

I'm sure they're happy with Dubas now.

Strome is also playing really well.

They've picked up some solid players and did a pretty good retool.

Picking up Dubois, Chychrun and Mangiapane for terrific value will go a long way for them. I'm jealous they were able to get Mangiapane for just a 2nd...

Surprised at how well his career has rebounded, though Chicago was also extremely stupid for not qualifying him and just giving up on him. I kinda wish we had made a move for him but of course we were cap strapped as usual. He's been getting better every year and this year he may just hit 70+ pts or even PPG.

With hefty contracts coming up for Shesterkin and Laf the Rangers might be hard pressed to retain Miller next season. He’d cost a bit but wouldn’t mind having him on the Leafs

Have to think a coaching change is coming soon in Boston. Saturday could be Monty's last game if they lose to the Leafs.
